Get Your Groove On

Jeevi’s dance story begins with learning a kaleidoscope of dance styles, starting from the young age of 4, including Chinese dance, to Ballet, to classical Indian dance (Bharatanatyam), modern Indian dance, Reggaeton and Hip Hop. But it was after specializing in Sport Psychology, working with athletes on their performance and well-being, that she realized she wanted to combine these expertise and bring it to everyday individuals - helping them push their boundaries of what they thought possible, mentally, physically and emotionally. And African Dance Fitness, was the perfect vehicle - Jeevi was enamoured with it during her travels, and even more so after spending almost 3 months travelling across 10 countries in Africa. With her decade long experience as a dance fitness instructor, she founded AfrowithJeevi, bringing the beats, bops and booty shakes back to Singapore, sharing the magic with everyone!
